Back home (only a short walk, luckily) from this evening’s travesty of a football match at Elland Road.
So this is what we find: a Leeds United side who only actually failed on four – but basic – counts against Sunderland:
- We couldn’t find each other with our passes.
- We couldn’t beat the first man at corners or crosses.
- We kept losing the ball when tackled.
- We couldn’t run with the ball.
Apart from that, we were pretty poor. Oh, and we haven’t scored in a long, long while. From our new position in the bottom three, the only way is up… you’d think.
We’ll score again, don’t know where, don’t know when…
